An era of cobbled streets, horse-drawn carriages, and grand 19th-century Spanish mansions. So today, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m turning the salsa music up full blast and making my go-to cocktail. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s fast, easy, and ridiculously good. Care to join me?<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT YOU&#8217;LL NEED<\/strong> (makes 1 glass)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 cl Rum<\/li>\n<li>1.5 cl lime juice (approx. juice of 1 lime)<\/li>\n<li>1.5 cl honey (approx. 1 tablespoon)<\/li>\n<li>a handful of crushed ice<\/li>\n<li>soda water to top off<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The original recipe calls for raw rum (aguardiente), but white rum works just fine. Prefer it sweeter or more sour? Prepare a batch of the honey-lime mix in advance and keep it in a bottle or container. This way, topping up everyone\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s drink is a breeze\u00e2\u20ac\u201djust pour in the mix, add rum, ice, and soda.
